There are stories for every occasion and I can tailor a set to suit your needs. I draw on tales from all around the world, traditional and modern. Apart from stories, each presentation may include rhymes riddles and songs. The audience is encouraged to join in and may be actively involved in pulling out an enormous turnip one moment, and being workers in a button factory the next moment. I don't need much space, just a quiet area and some people willing to let their imaginations go. Audiences either sit on the floor or on chairs as appropriate. If your event is outside you might consider using the story tent. This brightly coloured frame tent can seat 15 people on carpet tiles or rugs. It has the advantage of providing shelter or shade and it cuts down on distractions. It is available to hire from the Isle of Wight Council's Toy Library for £10 per hire. Tel 401500 to book.
