This is an evening walk along farm track and across fields to the beach beside Burnt Wood.

Meet outside Porchfield village hall, opposite The Sportsman’s Rest pub PO30 4LP.

Weather permitting, we will sit and watch the sunset, while listening to the oystercatchers and watching terns dive. There will be tales about ships and shipwrecks.

We will retrace our footsteps along the side of the woodland and finish back at the Sportsman’s Rest. Aimed at adults, but older children welcome.

Bring a torch, and binoculars if you have them.

If it rains in the days leading up to this walk, it might be worth wearing wellies.
