 Treasure Story Trail

This was a family story walk around the grounds of Northwood House 

Sue-the-storyteller's teddy had been stolen by her wicked sister.  The listeners helped her solve riddles and work out clues  in the stories to find her treasured ted.

Seaside Storywalk

Saturday 14th May '16     2pm

A family seaside storywalk with plenty of stops for stories and to find beach treasure.  We found out the answers to all important questions: 'Why the sea is salty' and 'Why the crab has no head' amongst other tales.

Village of Angels storywalk

The angels landed in St Helens.  A fantastic joint project  by the St Helen's community and professional artists  who created  a village of a
ngels from recycled materials to raise funds for St Helen's Tots Playgroup.  .  

 

 

 

Fungi Walk, Parkhurst Forest

More of a fungi foray than a story walk - but even a fungus has a story! We walked through the forest looking under, and on, the trees, among the leaf litter and along the path edges to see how many varieties of fungi we could find.  And we found lots!

Borthwood Copse Fungi Walk

We found all sorts, blewits, amanitas, russulas, magpie fungi.  Fantastic!
