IW STORYTELLING FESTIVAL
were Anna, Anna, and Susanna, who together make up Annamation. They are a fresh new company of storytellers, working together to bring stories to life through spoken word, theatricality and song. Winners of the recent Young Storyteller of the Year Award Annamation have shown that their youth and vitality brings a dynamic edge to the storytelling tradition.

Jason and the Argonauts.
We entered the epic world of Jason and the Argonauts as Annamation took us on a treacherous journey in search of the famous Golden Fleece. Not for the faint hearted, this ancient tale was told in a new way that you're not likely to forget!
The second half was a medley of different stories from each member of Annamation and included a funny tale from Russia Ivan and the Pea; Oscar Wilde's classic tales The selfish giant and The tiger's whisker.
Telling Tales Workshop.
A fun introduction to the art of storytelling hosted by Annamation. This workshop provided simple tools and techniques to help you find your own storytelling voice and give you the confidence and opportunity to perform your story in an informal setting. It was for older children.
Tickets: £4 adults. £2 children.
Picnic lunch and Story Round.
We enjoyed an open mike picnic lunch where families and individuals shared their tales or simply munched along while being transported into the realms of imagination.
