It can be as long as you want 20, 30 or 45 minutes during which two or three stories will have been told; some may be as short as a few minutes, others as long as ten minutes. Riddles and rhymes and, maybe, even a song will change the pace and keep everyone engaged. Myths and Legends of the Isle of Wight:
Fathom out the Six Wonders of the Isle of Wight, unscramble some place name anagrams and listen to some of the myths and legends connected to the Island. Find out about the wreck of the Gladiator and be amused by WWII anecdotes. Ideal for anyone aged 9 to 90. Suitable venues: anywhere quiet with comfortable seating or floor cushions. Allow one to one and a half hours. Cost: £40. Maximum group size 40.

Start off with a game of What's the time Mr. Wolf?, then have a selection of stories starring that infamous Wolfie interspersed with a walk through the woods. Riddles, rhymes, songs and maybe a scavenger hunt to find things like something as rough as Mr. Wolf's fur, make this a storywalk that's ideal for children aged between 4 and 11. Allow one to one and a half hours. For up to 15 children. Venue: woodlands such as Parkhurst, Dickson Copse, Firestone Copse. Cost £40.

Start off with a game of Jack be nimble then have a walk with stops along the way to hear Jack tales including old favourites like Jack and the beanstalk. Find some treasure along the way to incorporate into our stories, join in with riddles, rhymes and songs. This storywalk is ideal for children aged between 4 and 10. Allow one to one and a half hours. For up to 15 children. Suitable venues include parks and woodlands. Cost £40.

Do you know why the crab has no head? Or why the sea is salty? Find out during this storywalk that will have you hunting for crabs and spotting all sorts of beach treasure. There will be riddles and rhymes and maybe time for a game or a chance to make a beach sculpture. This storywalk is ideal for ages 3 to 83 and can be readily adapted to suit the ages of the people taking part. Allow one and a half to two hours. For up to 25 people. Suitable venues: Any beach so long as the tide is out! Cost £45.

Stories about food from around the world to tease the taste buds. Savour the flavour of a handmade truffle between each story and try winning a box to take home, by joining in with a quiz and riddles. Ideal for chocolate lovers aged 12 to 120. Suitable venues: Anywhere indoor that is quiet and has comfortable seating. Allow two hours. Minimum group size 10 Maximum group size 25. Cost £5 per person.

Play a Victorian game such as Hunt the thimble to start the proceedings then treat your ears to a selection of Victorian tales including the likes of Oscar Wilde's The Selfish Giant and Walt Whitman's Death in A schoolroom. Hear a few Isle of Wight Victorian facts and puzzle over some riddles. This story session is ideal for anyone aged 10 to 90. Suitable venues: anywhere quiet with comfortable seating or floor cushions. Allow one to one and a half hours. Cost: £40. Maximum group size 40.

What is a Set?
Don't just save them for Halloween. Have a bonfire party and get your friends over. Bring a blanket to snuggle under and hear some ghostly stories; some to chill, some to thrill and some to make you laugh. Then, the floor is yours; your chance to tell that ghostly tale you heard. Ideal for anyone aged 7 to 70. Suitable venues: indoor (Dim the lights, add a candle or two) or outdoor, anywhere will do as long as it's not too windy. Allow one and a half to two hours. Maximum group size: 20. Cost £40.
